Where can you go and carry home, as often as you want, an armload of knowledge, imagination and adventure?  Where you can feel at home amidst a world of books, media and technology? The Osterville Village Library is just such a place.

Our Lillian Dixie Morton Children’s Library is a sunny, active community space that welcomes all as it quietly (or not so quietly) works to enrich and transform lives. Here children, parents and grandparents, teachers and Cape visitors alike will discover:
  • a thriving collection of the best books and media for children and teens
  • a Makerspace where children ages 7 and up can experiment, problem-solve, and create with Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Art materials
  • programs that encourage young people to come together, engage in real-world projects, and create and share content
  • convenient “on-demand” programs for small groups; and traditional and project-based StoryTimes for preschoolers
  • Informal 1-on-1 opportunities that help children and teens develop and share their passion for reading, learning and creating
  • and last but not least, our ever-popular doll house and wooden train table!
The Osterville Village Library staff know that by opening books, children and teens open new avenues for self-exploration and capacity-building. Please join us as we help the young people of Osterville and beyond to explore, discover and learn.
